Project Manager

We are seeking project managers to join our growing team. You are someone who understands how to manage unique and innovative projects and establish and document processes to ensure our teams are running effectively. With a team in both the U.S. and Finland, you are someone who understands how to work across discipline and cultural boundaries. You will be an important part of our team running point for delivering product and service solutions to our clients on time and on budget. This position is ideally filled in NYC where we have a desk at the ready for the right candidate. We are a close-knit team of avid explorers that provides you a unique opportunity to collaborate and develop new skills in many different areas.

Primary of this function include:

  • Develop production, planning and resource direction to allow for teams to run nimbly and efficiently
  • Liaison between client and design and engineering teams
  • Plan and author project budgets, scopes and timelines for various projects from workshops to prototypes to application development
  • Expert at leading and organizing the teams, managing client expectations, with the ability to identify and articulate alternative solutions and/or change orders when changes arise
  • Plan and organize meetings, develop agendas, take notes, clearly define, and distribute next steps while keeping everyone on track
  • Liaise with partners and manage third party vendors
  • Ensure timelines are developed collaboratively and proactively managed

You Should...

  • Have 4+ years of managing design, innovation and development projects and teams
  • Be a blend of an organizational mindset and a creatively curious mindset.
  • Have experience managing a variety of projects types from microsites to extensive software development.
  • Have an understanding and experience managing agile development processes.
  • Have managed cross-functional teams in distributed environments.

We Also Love...

  • A familiarity with AI, AR and VR, and a recognition of their possibilities and applications.
  • Experience with projects that stretch creativity with animation, WebGL, and anything else that brings magic to the web.
  • An ability to talk creativity with designers, tech with developers, and the ability to fluently translate between the two.
